FormulaGrok uses a browser fingerprint and signed browser cookie to meter the free trial, store saved formulas, and keep basic product analytics tied to a session rather than forcing account creation on first visit.

If you choose to attach email, FormulaGrok stores that email to support vault restore across devices and to connect your saved work to a more durable identity. Billing information is handled through the billing provider rather than stored directly in the FormulaGrok UI.

Product analytics capture things like first query, vault saves, checkout starts, and restore usage so the funnel can be improved. FormulaGrok is not sold as an analytics product and does not intentionally collect more data than needed to run the service.
